A PRIVATE ALTERNATIVE TO THE TOUR BOATS
Most fall foliage cruises from Manhattan seat a hundred passengers or more on a fixed timetable, and the shorter sailings turn back at the Palisades. Yours is a different kind of day: one yacht, your guests only, and a captain who sets the pace around the light, the tide and your plans.
Choose four, six or eight hours. Longer charters continue north past Yonkers toward the Tappan Zee, and a full eight-hour day reaches Bear Mountain, with time to slow down wherever the color is best.
FOUR, SIX OR EIGHT HOURS
Four hours brings you up the Palisades and beneath the George Washington Bridge with time to linger. Six hours carries on past Yonkers toward the Tappan Zee, with an unhurried lunch aboard. Eight hours is the full day upriver, past the Tappan Zee and into the Hudson Highlands as far as Bear Mountain.
Your captain plans the route on the day around the tide, the current and your departure time. Fall foliage charters sail October through November from Chelsea Piers, Pier 59. Four-hour charters from $2,000.

TWO YACHTS FOR COOLER DAYS
Both yachts are fully enclosed, so the day stays comfortable whatever the October air is doing, with open views of the cliffs on every side. For longer days on the river we keep groups small enough to move freely: Hudson Star, our most-requested yacht, welcomes up to 10 guests, and Skyline, our 2026 custom build with a 10' bar, 65" TV and Starlink, hosts up to 25 with a Master USMM captain and crew aboard.
Hudson Star (up to 10 guests): weekdays 4 hours $2,000 · 6 hours $3,000 · 8 hours $4,000. Weekends 4 hours $2,400 · 6 hours $3,600 · 8 hours $4,800.
Skyline (up to 16 guests): weekdays 4 hours $4,000 · 6 hours $6,000 · 8 hours $8,000. Weekends 4 hours $4,800 · 6 hours $7,200 · 8 hours $9,600. For 17–25 guests, add $300 per hour.
A 20% service charge applies to all charters. BYOB always welcome.
CUSTOM CATERING
A longer day deserves a proper table. Tell us your group and your timing, and we will arrange custom catering to suit: a morning spread for an early departure, a relaxed lunch as the cliffs go by, or an afternoon of cheese, charcuterie and wine. For a true autumn welcome, we can have warm spiced cider waiting as you step aboard.
Prefer to bring your own? BYOB is always welcome. Florals and photography can be added to any charter.

When is peak foliage on the Hudson?
Color along the lower Hudson typically peaks from mid-October into early November, and it shifts a little each year. We sail foliage charters October through November, and weekend dates go first, so we recommend reaching out early.
How far up the Hudson will we go?
It depends on your charter length, the tide and your departure time. Four hours comfortably covers the Palisades; six hours continues past Yonkers toward the Tappan Zee; eight hours reaches Bear Mountain. Your captain confirms the route on the day.
Will we be comfortable if it turns cool?
Very. Both yachts are fully enclosed, so a crisp fall day on the water stays comfortable from start to finish. Light rain doesn't stop the day; we only reschedule for a USCG small craft advisory, which is rare.
Can you arrange catering?
Yes. Tell us your group size and timing and we will suggest a menu, from breakfast to a full lunch or an afternoon spread, and warm spiced cider for the colder days. BYOB is always welcome, and florals and photography can be added.
